Faced with a meteoric 44% increase in requests for food aid in the Memphrémagog MRC last year, BAM plans to expand its social grocery store in 2025 to better assist citizens in need.

- To enter the draw, participants must purchase a ticket online for $10 each, or 5 tickets for $40. Ticket purchase site: https://tinyurl.com/BAMmemphre
- This draw is open only to Canadian residents aged 18 and over.
- Participants will have from the time the draw goes live (June 17, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.) until the time it closes (July 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.) to enter;
- The prize description is as follows
- Two tickets for an Apér'eau cruise on the Le Grand Cru boat, with Escapades Memphrémagog (reservation required - 2024 season)
- One night's accommodation for two at Hotel Versō in Magog (reservation required - valid until June 4, 2025)
- A certificate for breakfast for two at Bistro Kóz in Magog (valid until June 4, 2025).
- This prize, with a total value of $468 before taxes, is not exchangeable, convertible or refundable;
- The winner will be selected by random draw on July 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from among all entrants.
- On July 18, the winner will be notified personally by e-mail or telephone;
- The prize will be sent to the winner's mailing address in Canada (provided this address is served by a recognized postal service);
- The following persons are excluded from the contest: the person for whose benefit the draw is held, his or her employees, representatives, agents and family members;
- Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement;
- Facebook is neither responsible for nor associated with the conduct of this contest. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a draw may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
- I'm a volunteer. Can I buy a ticket? Yes, volunteers are eligible. However, BAM and PAL+ employees and their family members who share the same address are not eligible.
- Is there a maximum number of tickets I can buy? There is no maximum number of tickets a person can purchase. However, there are 1,000 tickets available for this campaign.
- Will I receive a tax receipt? No, because according to the law of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (RACJ), it's not possible to give a tax receipt to a participant in a raffle, only when it's a donation.
- I bought my ticket online. When will I receive my raffle ticket? Once your purchase is complete, you'll receive confirmation by e-mail. Within a few business days, our team will then e-mail you a copy of your official numbered entry ticket. Please keep it in case you need to claim your prize.
- I don't have an e-mail address or I don't want to buy my ticket online. How can I enter? We invite you to visit BAM at 581 Sherbrooke St., Magog, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., to purchase a ticket with the exact cash amount. If you can't come in person, please contact Caroline at (819) 868-4438 ext. 3.
- Why does the Zeffy platform offer me the option of adding a percentage contribution to my online ticket purchase? Zeffy is a 100% free platform for non-profit organizations. In order to remain free, it collects voluntary contributions to finance its activities. You are under no obligation to donate to Zeffy; it's up to you. Simply enter "0%" in the field on the form or choose to make a donation to BAM.
- I'm a volunteer and would like to help sell tickets. How can I help? First, you can spread the word about our initiative by sharing the link to the draw on your Facebook page or by e-mail. Then, you can pick up a batch of printed tickets at BAM and sell them yourself. In this case, it's important to return the tickets and the money raised to BAM no later than 3:30 p.m. on July 16.
