The Memphrémagog Food Bank is open during the following hours:
Office :
Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Social grocery store, by appointment :
Monday to Thursday, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
La Dépense (food surplus) :
Monday to Friday, 10.30 a.m. to noon.

Any individual or family living within the MRC Memphrémagog* territory who is going through a difficult financial period can receive food assistance. Simply contact us to make an appointment with our caseworker, and we will open a file for you, in complete confidentiality. If you require recurring assistance, your income and expenses will be discussed in greater detail during your financial assessment.

Unfortunately, no. As an organization governed by the rules of the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ), all stages of preparation must be supervised to ensure that hygiene and safety standards are applied in food handling.
All meat, fish and seafood donations must first be certified by a MAPAQ-recognized establishment. If in doubt, contact our supervisor at 819-868-4438, ext. 2.
Yes, absolutely! Note that even stale vegetables and fruits can be used for processing (soup, sauce, jam, etc.).
